Prolitec is committed to a healthy and sustainable environment. We are continually improving our practices toward sustainability through responsible stewardship of the environment and its natural resources.
Prolitec tries to ensure that our products are recycled, and is working to improve the biodegradability and post-consumer content of our packaging and appliances in the following ways:
- All Prolitec cardboard contains post-consumer content
- Minimum feasible amount of plastic is used in Prolitec's outer packaging
- Prolitec uses biodegradable and recyclable packing materials whenever possible
- Prolitec's polypropylene fragrance cartridges are recycled either as part of a company recycling program for our commercial clients or by individual customers in their local communities. For information on recycling polypropylene in your community, see: http://search.earth911.com
Prolitec fragrances and chemicals support a healthy environment in the following ways:
- No phthalates are used in any plastic parts or material that comes into contact with Prolitec fragrances
- Prolitec fragrances contain no solvents, propellants or harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
- Prolitec's micro-droplet technology ensures that fragrance concentrations are below allergenic thresholds
- To reduce waste, unused fragrance is reclaimed from Prolitec's commercial clients by our service technicians
