Scent Media Firm names EVP Business Development & Marketing
Former Sharper Image Executive Joins Prolitec
Prolitec Inc., a leading provider of services for using scent as a communications medium, today named of Roger Bensinger as Executive Vice President of Business Development & Marketing. Bensinger was formerly Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at The Sharper Image, a specialty retailer.
Prolitec is a technology company specializing in aerobiology, indoor air quality, and ambient scenting. Prolitec provides products and services to several thousand clients throughout the US, UK, Europe and Australia. Venues where the company’s technology is being deployed include retail, hospitality, entertainment and office environments. Established in 1996, Prolitec pioneered the use of scent as a communications medium to market products and to enhance business interiors.
“Roger will use his considerable experience to establish new sales channels and strategic marketing relationships in the US and internationally,” stated Richard Weening, CEO of Prolitec. “Roger was one of two or three key players in the building of The Sharper Image and will add a lot to Prolitec as it emerges from its technology development phase into consumer air care and related markets.”
